Random Recap
I know I have been horrible with posting, so here is my bullet point recap that spans the last 2 weeks of my life.
- My twin sister and I turned 30 - I celebrated my first Mother’s Day as a mama - Noah ate rice cereal for the first time - Noah is officially 6 months old - Noah officially is in his own room and I was the one crying like a baby - I signed up for what is hopefully my second...

Weekend Recap
Not too much in our weekend (we can thank my homework for that), but we did get a few breaks in. On Friday we were suppose to treat ourselves to a healthy dessert, but too many toppings were calling my name. By the way, Matt and I are totally opposite when it comes to topping choices!
I think after so much back and forth, California now thinks it is summer. The heat this weekend meant half...

Friday and Saturday went by in a blur, so today’s very slow pace is much appreciated. I actually just woke up from a nap! Those times don’t come too often around here, so it almost felt weird waking up and not having to rush to get ready.
This weekend Noah got so much time in with the family. He was such a happy boy throughout a long day at my Aunt’s for her baby shower. Lots of...

Yay it’s Friday! Southern California has graced us with awesome weather today, it is a shame I am wasting it in my windowless office. Once I get out of here it is BBQ and family time. I am looking forward to a weekend where lots of laziness is involved.
I actually posted on my shared blog with the twin the things I am loving this Friday!

Monday Check In
Obsessing over: Noah’s laugh. It is very contagious!
Working on: Payroll is done, so I really should start on this big stack of paperwork on my desk!
Thinking about: Homework. This class I am in has such time consuming homework. It doesn’t help that my professor is so particular too!
Anticipating: Always the weekend!
Listening to: Pandora: Rascal Flatts

Date Weekend Recap
It was our 3 year wedding anniversary last week, and we had yet to really celebrate it. The plan was actually to stay in Palm Springs Friday night, but the thought of not being home by Noah’s bedtime was enough to make me teary-eyed. Yeah apparently I am the big baby.
So mini dates throughout the whole weekend is what happened. We actually still went to Palm Spring for dinner on Friday night. The...

Weekend Recap
It was a little hard to be back a work today, given the great weekend we had. Kathleen took care of Noah on Friday, and still managed to cook dinner for the family at her apartment. Apparently all it takes is a large amount of food and The Voice to keep our family happy.
Having lunch on Saturday with Matt’s family meant that it was straight into the pajamas after church yesterday....

Thursday Happies
This week we have been dealing with the hour from hell every night. For some reason between 6PM to 7PM, this boy is inconsolable. It has been a week where every night ends with Noah finally crying himself to sleep. Whether it be a 10 minute cry, or an hour of off and on crying, it is enough to break anyone’s heart. Monday dinner with the co-workers ended early for me when Noah just could...

Decided to take baby steps with planting a garden by purchasing little planter boxes. So this morning we packed up the boys, went through the Starbucks drive-thru and headed to Home Depot.
While Noah pretty much napped through our whole excursion, Mozzie made sad eyes the whole time because he had to sit in the cart.
We went with a planter of ranunculus flowers, and a planter of random herbs....

Things that are already making me smile today...
Leaving for work and finding Matt and Noah on their first nap of the day.
Finding out the lady ahead of me in the Starbucks drive-thur already paid for my drink.
Coming to work and having a breakfast burrito waiting for me.
